Hello everyone,
Welcome to the beginning of the liturgical calendar..........ADVENT

We celebrated how we can be the light of Christ to others by taking the time to acknowledge a classmate's good character. Ask your child who presented them with their certificate and why.

In Math, the students constructed 3D solids so they had visual examples to assist them in understanding how many faces, edges and vertices a solid has.

Ask your child what is the difference between the two solids above.

Ask your child what is similar between the two solids below.

 Upcoming Christmas activities.......

  • Our class is responsible for the COOKIE category of the Christmas basket list.
  • Angels have been placed on the angel tree in the front foyer.

If your family is able to help for either or both activities, we ask that you return the items to school by Friday December 14th if possible. Check your child's agenda on Monday for a paper copy of more detailed information.

  • Save the date for the St. Rita Christmas Concert on Wednesday December 19th @ 10:00 am in the gym. More details to come.
  • We are collecting the Citizen newspaper for a Science activity. If you have any and are planning to recycle them anyway, can you please send them our way as soon as possible.
