Hello everyone,
As you know, the week before March Break was Francophonie Week. Our class participated in various activities put on by the French panel at St. Rita including our very own Madame Marta!

Two of our classmates were courageous enough to participate in the French spelling bee. Rose was honoured with the title of Primary Champion.
Madame Marta and the class won a prize for the best decorated door as well. Congratulations!
In Math, before the March Break, our class took a deeper look into fractions- of a whole and of a set.

In Health, we are wrapping up our unit on oral care. Ask your child what was the purpose of the experiment we did with the eggs, coke, vinegar and toothpaste and then ask your child what were the conclusions we made.

One of our students was brave enough to handle one of the eggs in our experiment. Ask your child why the egg was so fragile.

A Few Things to Remember......
  • Our class does Swim to Survive on April 10, 17 and 24th. Please check agendas on Tuesday for information and consent forms and fill them in asap
  • Family Mass and Potluck at St. Augustine Church this coming Saturday March 23rd @ 4:30pm. All are welcome. Invitations went out to families 2 weeks ago in your child's agenda
